Lilian is a registered Psychologist, and Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Psychology Board of Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Lilian holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical), a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Teaching (Early Childhood Education), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Japanese.
Lilian has worked with a broad range of clients from varying backgrounds from children through to older adults. She has a background in early childhood teaching and prior experience working with young people aged 12-25 years at Headspace. Lilian is passionate about working with children, teens, and their families, as well as adults, particularly new mums. She has experience engaging with children who have a range of behavioural and learning difficulties and has a keen interest in ADHD (both in children and adults). Lilian assists her clients with anxiety, depression, behavioural and emotional regulation difficulties, school & social issues, self-esteem, and family separations. She enjoys meeting and building rapport with people from all walks of life and supporting them through change through implementing personalised evidence-based treatment.
She has a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and also utilises therapeutic interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment informed approaches. Lilian is motivated and committed to continued professional learning and development. Lilian is currently working in perinatal mental health through the Gidget Foundation, after being inspired to support people in this area since becoming a mother herself.
