Hayden Dyer

Hayden is a Provisional Psychologist under the Psychology Board of Australia, and is currently undertaking a Master of Professional Psychology from Macquarie University. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Sydney.

Hayden has a range of treatment modalities that he utilises in collaboration with clients, with particular focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He is trained in working with children and adults, and is passionate about finding ways to meaningfully improve people’s lives. Hayden is continuing to develop skillsets in modalities such as Schema Therapy and Family Systems, and prioritises holistic approaches that can be adjusted to each client’s individual needs.

Hayden has an emergency services background, with extensive experience involving trauma incidents and complex investigation. He also has experience in counselling high school students across a range of difficult issues. Hayden is particularly interested in evidence-based strategies for improving individual wellbeing, as well as the restorative power of the natural world. His therapy approach creates a safe place for clients to explore their challenges and build helpful skills to improve their lives.
