Jacqui is a fully registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Newcastle and completed a Post graduate Diploma of Psychological Practice with the College of Professional Psychology.

Jacqui is a compassionate and authentic psychologist experienced in working with adolescents and young adults, adults, and families. She takes a flexible, client-centred approach using evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She assists clients to overcome stress, manage life transitions, anxiety, or low mood and deal with grief and loss. Jacqui’s recent professional experience includes working for a Youth Enhanced Service, providing therapy to young people with complex mental health issues. Jacqui is experienced in supporting clients of diverse backgrounds, including clients who identify with the LGBTQ+ community.

Jacqui also holds an interest in supporting clients to thrive in their school and workplace. With training in various interpersonal therapies, Jacqui can assist clients to build confidence in communications as well as support with clarifying study and career goals and direction.
